Myself (Rosie) and husband Kyle have always owned and been surrounded by various animals. As a child animals have played a major part in my life, to me animals are a blessing and bring so much joy and wellbeing to our lives. Over the years we have had many wonderful pets including Rabbits, Guinea Pigs and Rats to exotic reptiles such as Chameleons, Burmese Pythons and our pride and joy 'Olive' the Green Iguana. We have both had dogs all of our lives, my husband with his collie cross 'Bonnie', and me with my beloved westie 'Hamish'.
We plan on raising out two daughters Isabelle and Abigail to be keen animals enthusiasts just like us. They are currently 8 and 9 years old and love all pets. We share our home with three wonderful big fluff balls. Ralph our mixed breed 3 year old, he's absolutely lovely, even if I do say so myself. Sulley, 2 year old and Cindy 1 year old, are our rare breed Estrela Mountain Dogs. Sulley is very mellow and gentle, Cindy is a sweetheart and rather timid, although both will bark loudly at people they don't know they are getting better at meeting new people. This is because Estrela are guardian dogs. We also own a herd of around 40 Guinea Pigs and occasional rabbits in rescue too, they have their own Facebook page NFPS Cavies and New Forest Pet Rescue. People and groups can book experiences with our animals.
I have always had a passion for pets! I studied Animal Management at Sparsholt College, including care of exotics, dog behaviour and grooming. I am qualified in the the Use of Veterinary Medicines and Canine First Aid. I hold a City and Guilds Level 2 and 3 Qualification in dog and cat grooming. Trained by Laura Campanella, a Master Groomer and International Award Winning Groomer. I also hold a Diploma in Animal Reiki, Level 2. This means i am qualified and able to offer Reiki services in person and via distance. I also hold a qualification for use of the Emmipet dental system, a service we offer in our salon.
I am “All About the Animals” and it is extremely important to me to understand their thoughts, feelings and emotions. All animals are individuals and it is up to us as humans to understand their needs and to communicate with them effectively.
You can rest assured that animals in my care will be given the love and attention as if they are my own and ensuring their wellbeing is of the up most importance.
