Pet & Home Sitting
Keeping your pets happy, settled and at home while you're away. Going away is much easier when you know your pets are in good hands. Not every animal enjoys kennels or boarding, and for some, being away from home can be quite unsettling. Our Pet & Home Sitting service allows your pets to stay in their own surroundings, sleep in their usual beds and carry on with the routines they know. Whether you're away for a night, a weekend or a longer holiday, we'll look after your pets in the comfort of their own home. And with someone staying overnight, there's the added reassurance of knowing your home is being looked after too.
Overnight Pet Sitting
Our overnight sitting service is ideal for pets who are comfortable being left during the day but would benefit from someone staying with them overnight.
Standard sitting hours: 7pm – 7am
We'll fit in with your pets' usual evening and morning routines, including:
-
Feeding and fresh water
-
Toilet breaks and garden access
-
Evening or morning walks, where appropriate
-
Playtime, company and plenty of fuss
-
Medication, where agreed in advance
-
Settling pets for bedtime
-
Morning care and breakfast
-
Looking after cats and smaller pets in the household
-
General checks of your home
-
Photos and updates while you're away
We'll discuss your pets' routines before your booking so we know what they're used to and how best to care for them.
Overnight Pet Sitting – £55 per night
This covers care between 7pm and 7am. If you need someone to arrive earlier, stay later or provide care during the day, we can arrange additional time.
How Our Pricing Works
We charge £55 for each overnight stay, with additional daytime care charged separately where required.
Here are a few examples to help explain how this works:
Booking Total
Friday 7pm – Saturday 7am £55
Friday 7pm – Sunday 7am £110
Friday 5pm – Sunday 1pm £170
Friday 7pm – Monday 7am £165
The £170 example includes two overnight stays (£110) and six additional hours of care at £10 per hour (£60).
For longer bookings or arrangements that don't fit our usual hours, we'll discuss what you need and provide a full quotation beforehand. Additional hours can be added to the start or end time for any bookings, charged at £10 per hour.
Additional Pets
We're happy to look after several pets from the same household.
-
Additional dog: £5 per night
-
Additional cat or small pet: £3–£5 per night, depending on care requirements
This means your pets can all stay together at home, rather than needing separate arrangements.
Continuous Care
For pets who need someone with them throughout the day. Some dogs simply can't be left alone for long periods, and we understand that a standard overnight sitting arrangement won't suit everyone.
Perhaps your dog struggles when left, is recovering from an illness, has mobility difficulties or needs more supervision because of their age.
Our Continuous Care service provides dedicated care and companionship throughout the agreed booking period, without your dog being left alone.
This can be particularly helpful for:
-
Dogs with separation-related difficulties
-
Puppies who need regular supervision
-
Elderly dogs who require extra help
-
Dogs recovering from illness or surgery
-
Dogs with medical needs requiring closer monitoring
-
Pets who are unable to cope with being left alone
We'll keep to their normal routine as much as possible, providing meals, toilet breaks, appropriate exercise, company and any agreed medication or additional care.
Continuous Care – From £70 per day
As this service requires us to dedicate considerably more time to your pet, prices depend on the length of the booking, the level of supervision required and their individual care needs. We'll talk through your requirements and agree on a price before confirming your booking.
Looking After Your Home Too
When you invite someone into your home, you need to feel comfortable knowing they'll treat it with respect.
We take that responsibility seriously. Alongside caring for your pets, we'll carry out general household checks, keep things tidy and make sure your home is secure when coming and going.
Before your first booking, we'll arrange a meeting so we can get to know you and your animals.
We'll discuss their feeding, exercise and sleeping routines, any medication, behaviour or health considerations, along with your veterinary details, emergency contacts and arrangements for accessing your home.
It's also a chance for you to show us where everything is kept, explain any household routines and ask whatever questions you might have.
Keeping in Touch While You're Away
We know you'll miss your pets while you're away, so we'll keep you updated with messages and photographs during your booking. Whether it's a picture of your dog enjoying their walk, your cat curled up in their favourite spot or simply a quick message to say everyone's settled, you'll know how they're getting on. And if anything concerns us, we'll always get in touch rather than leave you wondering.
Let's Talk About Your Pets
Whether you're planning a holiday, heading away for work or just need someone to stay overnight, we'd be happy to discuss how we can help. Tell us a little about your pets, where you're based and the dates you're looking for, and we'll talk through the most suitable arrangements.
