Green Water Bottles?

Do your water bottles get green in the sun? Mine do get a bit scuzzy. One of these was left on top of the hutch block for a week with water in the sun. You can see just how green it goes!! This is what your piggies are drinking if you don't clean the bottles properly, at least once a week.

Here's how we do it:

- Add a little bit of fairy liquid into the bottle

- Then a small amount of uncooked rice, you can also use dishwasher salt.

- Add some water and shake shake shake! The rice/salt acts as an abrasive while the fairy cleans.

- Rinse extremely well.

- Use little bottle brushes to clean any remaining guck. Don't forget the nozzle too!!

This method brings bottles up beautiful every time. Many of my bottle and years old!
